Mystery Man Films is an Independent Production Company based in the UK that specialises in Unscripted content. It was founded by Richard Kovitch after 20 years experience in the broadcasting industry, where he has worked for BBC Studios, BBC News, Channel 4, Paramount, FIVE, Discovery and ITV. In that time he has been a Creative Director, led numerous Award-Winning campaigns, and written for and directed a plethora of A-List talent, including Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant, Chris Rock, Andrew Neil, Victoria Derbyshire, Mark Kermode and Charlie Sheen.

 

He has built around him a world-class team of editors, designers, camera operators, sound recordists and production managers, all of whom have a proven track record of delivering premium content for major broadcasters, including the BBC, Channel 4, Netflix and Apple. Together, we are Mystery Man Films. 

 

Mystery Man Films is now focused on delivering premium Unscripted content for broadcast and digital. Building on the critical acclaim for our feature length documentary 'Penny Slinger - Out Of The Shadows', and a series of films made for BBC Studio's Showcase, we have a series of unscripted projects In Development, across a range of genres. All of them approach popular culture and the arts from a new and original angle. All of them are stories we feel need to be told. All of them excite us and make us love going to work.
